Tips for Use Your Undercounter Ice Maker

1. Environmental Factors

Ice machines should be placed in a well-ventilated air-dry environment, avoid open-air placement to be exposed to the wind and sun, while avoiding high ambient humidity, the use of the environment generally can not be lower than 5 ℃, not higher than 40 ℃, resulting in internal devices moisture, to ensure its good ventilation function, making the machine life is not affected.

2. Placement Of The Machine

In order for the ice maker to work properly, the machine must be placed on a level surface. This can be done by adjusting the floor screws on the bottom of the machine to ensure that it is placed on a level surface so that it does not make noise or is affected by noise.

3. Clearance Requirements

It is prudent to leave appropriate clearance at the back of the machine for heat dissipation. It is generally recommended that the space behind the left and right sides of the machine should not be less than 150mm, which also facilitates future maintenance work.

4. Filter Installation

The ice maker should be installed with a strainer to remove impurities in the water that may cause clogging of the water pipes, resulting in contamination of the water pipes.

5. WaterInlet Valve Cleaning

6. Handling Of Ice Machine

A commercial ice machine is generally large and accompanied by a very heavy weight, so the handling process must be careful and light, the handling angle can not be less than 45 degrees, and after long-distance handling, it should be placed 2-6 hours before you can open the ice makers.
